Warhammer 40k fan art, Death korp of Krieg guardsman in the snow. This is my best digital art work so far. I try to approach a more realistic style. It didn't turn out like I intended to, but it looks ok to me.
Truly an impressive Artwork on the ever Grim and Fatalistic "Death of Krieg" and the only regiments who routinely volunteer for tours of service in the most dangerous warzones in the Imperium which means they have earned a fierce reputation across the galaxy. They excel in trench and siege warfare but have taken part in various different actions across many campaigns such as the Taros Campaign, the Third War for Armageddon, the Atria Wilderness Campaign and the Vorenz III Campaign to name but a few.
Still the only problem I can see on this work is only the Lasgun this Guardsman wield that isn't at all the preferred pattern use them, which is the Lucius Pattern Lasgun. Its power pack operates at a higher charge than many other more common patterns of Lasgun.
"No matter the honours he already bears, a true Astartes is still willing to sacrifice himself in the name of the Emperor. Greater is his glory as such. And so shall he be remembered."
Thanks for correcting me out. I have very little knowledge on the lore of the warhammer 40k universe. When I was doing this I make a brief research on the imperial guard and I some how confused myself with Death korp of Krieg and Steel Legion. Terribly sorry for my mistake. I'll be extra careful next time.
Hey no problem and well knowledge with time can come to understanding in ways it takes patience to really know the whole Universe of Warhammer 40k, since its always changing but never the same to the next.
Yeah many new people or newer fans can have the tendency to confuse this two different Imperial Regiments for the part the Death Korps are similar to the Armageddon Steel Legion in appearance along with Combat attire, but with similarities ending for the two in terms of the Kriegan's having darker colors, and their masks usually have a skull motif.
